To everyone who donated, whether through social media or via our website, thank you. We are so incredibly grateful to share that we have raised enough to cover Haggis’ life-saving surgery…this is all because of you!
Now onto a little update on this amazing little lady. Haggis is doing wonderfully and is now settled in true comfort with one of our amazing foster carers. She is booked in on Monday 16th March for her spay and removal of the tumour that has been weeping.
Following surgery, she will recover in her foster home with round-the-clock care, plenty of pain relief, and all the love and TLC she could ever dream of – we will of course keep you updated every step of her journey!

This is a very challenging time for us, we are in the middle of a major and vital refurbishment project to keep our kennels open, while also seeing record numbers of animals relying on us for rescue spaces, veterinary treatment and welfare support.
We promised we would never close our doors during this appeal and we promised to remain a lifeline for every animal who needs us. That promise is only possible because of you.
We truly see our supporters as family, and we are so proud of what we are already achieving together in 2026. Haggis is receiving the care she deserves, and we are building a safer, calmer and stronger rescue centre for the animals who will need us for decades to come.
