Vacancy - Animal Centre Receptionist
RSPCA Halifax, Huddersfield, Bradford & District Branch Receptionist
18-month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave
Salary Meets National Minimum Wage Based on 37.5 hours over 7 days
This will include every other weekend and some Bank Holidays Applicants should have previous receptionist or customer facing experience; previous animal experience is beneficial however training will be given, and knowledge of Cybertill would be desirable.
You will have an excellent telephone manner, strong communication skills and be able to present a professional and good first impression to our clients and customers. You will need to be able to work well in a team and individually.
We work in a very challenging and often busy environment which can make the role varied and interesting. Candidates will be highly motivated and able to work under pressure using your own initiative whilst retaining a good sense of humour. You will be empathetic towards others in sometimes difficult circumstances when providing telephone and face to face advice.
As there are many aspects to this role, we need someone who is quick-thinking and willing to learn. You will need to possess excellent organisational skills, be computer literate and have experience of using MS Office.
