Time is running out, this is your final call to sign up for The Really Big Walkies this Sunday, and you won’t want to miss it!
This Sunday, we’re bringing together dog lovers and their four-legged friends for a joyful, tail-wagging sponsored walk, all in support of something truly special. This year, every penny helps fund our Really Big ReFURb, an exciting transformation project that will turn our much-loved (but well-worn) animal centre into a modern, welcoming space for rescue animals for years to come.
Why You Shouldn’t Miss It
For just £5, you and your pup will get:
- A goody bag packed with treats
- A shiny rosette to mark the day
- And the best reward of all, helping animals in need 🐶
We’re also encouraging participants to go one step further by fundraising. Whether you choose to set up a page on JustGiving or Enthuse, every extra pound you raise makes a real difference.
The Walk 🐕
Set against the stunning backdrop of Castle Hill, Huddersfield, you’ll have two route options:
- A short, accessible loop from the top car park, perfect for pushchairs or those with limited mobility
- A longer 2-mile walk for dogs of all ages and abilities (with a gentle uphill stretch for a bit of adventure!)
