As we rapidly approach the next phase of our Really Big Refurb, which will see the cattery undergoing a complete and much-needed transformation, we just had to mark the occasion with something special, and what better way than locking members of the public inside and asking them to raise money for their release?!
14 incredible supporters helped us to celebrate this historic moment for our centre by taking part in Catnapped – a one-of-a-kind fundraiser and celebration of everything we’ve achieved together with our cattery over the last 40 years.
On Sunday 6th September, our amazing participants were locked into our cat pens for either the morning or the afternoon, taking on some truly ridiculous challenges to raise their bail and support the future for cats in need… we are over the moon that collectively they raised an jaw-dropping £3000! Of course they were rewarded with plenty of cuddles whilst our cats and kittens received some important socialisation and enrichment time too 🩵
