Calderdale College students fundraise nearly £270, wow!

Last year, joinery students from Calderdale College took part in a fabulous fundraiser with the encouragement of their course leader Steven Mitchell.

They carefully crafted 19 beautiful birdhouses to sell, with the largest one being auctioned off, and we were thrilled to hear that they succeeded in raising an incredible total of £266.12!

We were so impressed with the stunning designs (and not surprised that they managed to sell them all so quickly) and would like to thank Steven and his students, including Gareth Wood and Ashely Merrett pictured below, for their hard work and putting their amazing skills to such good use. All the funds raised will go towards our work rehabilitating and rehoming local animals in need.
