We’re kicking off an exciting new chapter at our Animal Centre as we begin the first stage of our redevelopment – and it all starts with a paws-itively big move!
On Friday 29th August, our dogs will be temporarily relocating to a nearby trusted RSPCA Centre, where they’ll continue to receive the same loving care from our dedicated team. This move will help keep them happy and stress-free while work begins on building their brand new kennels.
Our cats will be staying on-site, safely housed in soundproofed and secure accommodation, protected from the noise and disruption of the build.
The Reception, Adoptions Area, and Pet/Vet Shop will all remain open, so you’ll still be able to visit us, adopt, donate, and support our work as usual.
Our amazing staff and volunteers will continue their vital roles across both the Wade Street site and our temporary kennel location, ensuring that every animal in our care gets the attention and support they need.
Most importantly, our rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming work will carry on without interruption. No matter what changes are happening on-site, our mission remains the same: to be there for the animals who need us most.
